We suggest all our guests purchase travel insurance that may help you in several cases, in case of: flight cancellation, accommodation canceled by hurricanes or other disasters, accidents, and illness.

Time Zone (Tulum)

Tulum as all Quintana Roo State have a different time zone from the center of the country, we recommend inquiring at reception to know the exact time.

Check in / Check out

Check in time is at 15:00 as the check out time is at 12:00, there luggage storage free in case of a late flight and need to stay at the hotel for more time.

Money/Cash

In Tulum the most common form of payment is cash (dollar or Mexican pesos) we always recommend our guests carry smaller denomination bills to pay in any place, there’s several ATM’s along the beach road and in town, we advise not use the one in the beach road in case of fraud. We suggest the ATMS located in town who are affiliated with specific Banks.

Restaurants and credit cards

Tulum has a diverse range of excellent restaurants with different styles, contact reception for suggestions, many restaurants on the beach area accept credit cards, yet cash is preferred.
